The individual will be expected to function independently, with general oversight from the Director of Research and Finance for the School of Medicine & Health Sciences. This senior level position focuses on providing research program support and post-award management. This position works closely with Principal Investigators, managing day-to-day operations through administrative contributions to ensure research success. This position makes recommendations to policy and procedures, and may have authority to implement changes with minimal supervision. This position usually identifies potential grant opportunities and proposal development efforts and maintains fiscal responsibility, as well as outreach to other GW stakeholders in order to assist in maintaining standard operational efficiencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
