1. Mange construction projects professionally and with a can do attitude. Reporting to the General superintendent, Office PMS and coordinating with Owners, Owner’s vendors and inspectors and 3rd party inspectors
2. Oversee construction of projects from the start of construction to certificates of occupancy and
   completion of punch lists. This entails hands-on responsibility for carpentry, minor demolition, FRP, and miscellaneous equipment installation.

2. Responsibilities include the field management of direct craft personnel and cost control of all direct work activities. Verify all Purchase Orders.

3. Maintain strong knowledge of plans, intent, existing conditions, keep redline set.

4. Delivery tickets (packing slips) must be checked upon each delivery and sent to the office. Violation of the use will result in immediate termination.

5. Originate or review project schedule and meet with each subcontractor and discuss any problems.
Notify all subcontractors two weeks in advance. Notify suppliers two weeks in advance for major
equipment deliveries. Notify Project Manager every Friday morning of the status of the project and potential problems.

6. Manage multiple subcontractors, tradesmen, and laborers for the duration of each project. Coordinate with other superintendents to share in house staff

7. Expected to enforce quality and best in class workmanship

8. Prepare and submit daily reports on activities accomplished and those which are behind. Note any
material needed, labor requirements, and RFI’s. Take weekly photos and prepare a draft of progress reports with schedule milestones.

9. Mark up the CPM schedule weekly to highlight important dates, milestones, and changes made.
and email in by 12:00 Noon Thursday. Scheduling and coordination skills are essential.

10. Verify with the office that the job site’s dumpster, storage trailer, phone, and/or port-a-john have
been ordered. Also, verify with the office that concrete and miscellaneous accounts and general
requirements required to complete a project have been done.

11. Conduct inspections during construction and closeout.

12. Keep the job site clean and protect the new materials being installed.

13. Verify that contract drawing, kitchen equipment cut sheets, HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing

specifications match contract requirements. Coordinate with trade subcontractors and National
Interiors’ vendors.

14. Maintain and establish OSHA job site posters (first aid and fire extinguishers). Issue safety
violations when required to subs and fellow employees. Live by the pledge you have signed.

15.Ensure that the punch list on the restaurant is 100% complete prior to opening of the store.

17. Minimum 2-5 Years' experience in commercial construction.

18. Knowledge of MS Project, Outlook, Excel and similar program familiarity preferred.

19. Must be willing to travel to other job locations in Virginia and Beltway area
