What We Need:

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Muscatine, Iowa!
In addition to your involvement in the federal, state, and international tax process, this is a dynamic and collaborative role working on projects related to R&D, acquisitions, process improvements, and more. The position is highly visible to leadership in various areas of the business and will offer the ability to continue growing in your career. 

What You Will Do:

• Prepare domestic income tax returns, including federal, state, and international 
• Assist with federal and state income tax audits, appeals, protests, etc. with taxing authorities
• Assist with any income tax inquiries
• Respond to operating company questions and correspondence
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual provision processes
• Participate in or lead any other special projects 

What You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
  • CPA/CMA or willingness to achieve certification preferred 
• Minimum of four years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting environment 
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of Oracle, Alteryx, and consolidation software preferred

• Collaborating across various areas of the business with the ability to communicate effectively and influence without authority 
• Ability to learn multiple systems and become proficient in them
• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative with limited direction
