Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated career and customer-oriented Migration/Transition Specialist II in San Antonio, TX.
The Migration/Transition Specialist's primary function is to lead migration efforts that involve the transition from on-prem IT infrastructure to cloud-hosted technology.
Performance shall include:

• Keeping current with trends and best practices utilized among the broader cloud computing industry and makes internal adjustments and recommendations accordingly.
• Collaborate with end users, business stakeholders, and other IT personnel.
• Develop migration strategies and plans and subsequently oversee all aspects of migration, leading a team of Cloud Specialists responsible for implementation execution.

Required Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and 4 years of experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of position-specific relevant experience working on enterprise IT initiatives, 1 or more years of which are specific to cloud computing.
• A High School Diploma and 8 years of experience or an Associates and 6 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Degree.
• A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.

Desired Education and Experience:

• Professional certifications in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Security Clearance:

• No clearance required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
