Amazing opportunity for a strong Internal Medicine or Family Medicine BE or BC Hospitalist to join an existing program in a PRN capacity. Located in a progressive community hospital located in the beautiful NC foothills. Full Time Hospitalist schedule follows a 7 day on, 7 day off rotation in 12 hour shifts. 

This hospitalist group is comprised of physicians and advanced practice clinicians who admit the majority of the hospital's patients. A collegial medical staff includes a large primary care network as well as specialists in neurology, gastroenterology, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, oncology and more. The hospitalists have a strong voice in hospital operations to include participation in the stroke team, pharmacy and therapeutics committee, the ethics committee, and medical staff leadership. Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital has a strong focus on quality and patient experience; this has included primary stroke certification, advanced hip and knee replacement certification, expansion of the medical group to include additional specialties as well as same day access via strategically located urgent care centers.
