POSITION TYPE: Dental Lab

SPECIALTY UNIT: Dental Technician Stain & Glaze

LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL / Tampa, FL

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 hr

JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent

Objectives of this Role

• Make and repair dental appliances with an emphasis on quality, margins, consistent contacts, occlusions, and custom shades according to the Rx from the dentist
• Review each Rx in detail; inspect all work entering and leaving the lab to ensure all quality

standards and client requests are being met

• Communicate daily with the department manager about any defects or issues related to quality specifications and/or internal and external client requests or requirements
• Utilize PTC methods and company quality and work instructions

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Meet daily unit target
• Verify completion and accuracy of work
• Work closely with internal clients to understand their requirements, and ensure that all requirements are being met
• Finish- finish the metal or zirconia products and make them ready for the opaque, build, and ceramic processes; add anatomy to the finished metal
• Polish- polish and make ready all products for final inspection

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in a similar field
• Knowledge of dental anatomy
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Tech I- Someone with little dental lab knowledge and experience
• Tech II- someone who has earned multiple operations or has mastered their position
• Tech Ill- someone who has learned many/all operations and has mastered at least one

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of PTC methods and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining quality work
