DCS GROUP LLC is Hiring a Test Technician Near Ridgecrest, CA

Essential Job Functions

Assist the Outside Projects Lead in performing lab, ground and flight testing.

Train and become proficient on multiple weapons systems.

Prepare laboratory, ground and flight test plans and test procedures as well as the ‘OPS’ database planning and recording of these tasks.

Test asset positioning, conducting of laboratory, ground, and flight tests, and verifying that system integration tests meet performance requirements for all OFP's applicable.

Interface with all levels of the F/A-18 IPT as well as external organizations (e.g. Pt Mugu Program Office, PMA-265, NAVAIR, Boeing etc.) on matters related to weapons systems integration, project planning, scheduling, document preparation, engineering document assessment and test planning.

Perform validated Laboratory and Ground test procedures in accordance with Government approved test plans and schedules.

Complete test activities that will be documented (in TEX and SARs) directly into the OPS electronic database.

Develop and present technical reports and status briefings on the results of testing.

Manage and own professional development; to maintain an understanding of new and developing technologies pertaining to assigned tasks.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

High School Diploma plus 2 years of experience is required or will accept an Associate's Degree/Trade school diploma with some relevant experience.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a clearance.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills:

Naval shipboard working with military aircraft.

Familiarization with F/A-18 (All configurations) aircraft.

Familiarization with Agile and the ability to work within small groups or Scrum teams.
