DCCH is a multi-faceted nonprofit with services that include Residential Treatment for survivors of child abuse & neglect; Therapeutic Foster Care & Adoption; and The Therapy Center at DCCH, providing outpatient therapy and counseling services to meet all mental health needs for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in Northern Kentucky. Our Residential Treatment Program cares for boys and girls, ages six to 14, who have been removed from their home, many due to severe abuse and neglect. They bear profound emotional and behavioral scars from the trauma they've experienced. We pr...ovide them a safe place to live, specialized education, and life-changing therapy to help them manage their behaviors, and find hope in a brighter future. We also offer Foster and Adoption training to families and support through placement of children in need of a home. We have successfully facilitated nearly 150 adoptions, and have served hundreds of children through providing supportive foster families. The Therapy Center at DCCH is an outpatient therapy center open to the public. We accept private insurance as well as Medicaid. Appointments are available within one week for individual, family, couples, or other therapy needs. In every program, we help rebuild the lives of individuals with traumatic, emotional and behavioral difficulties.
