Job Description/Requirements:

• Forklift experience required, forklift training experience a plus
• Experience in Warehousing, Logistics, Shipping and Receiving
• Basic Supply Chain experience a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Knowledge of LEAN philosophies and processes desired
• Basic computer skills, ideally with Microsoft products
• Basic construction experience
• Industrial safety experience a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of administrative and/or lead experience in an industrial setting
• A clean pre-employment drug screen
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
• Excellent communication skills, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• History of being punctual and having good work attendance
• May require a split-shift schedule at times
• Ability to stand for long period of times. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as needed. Ability to work in warehouse environment on concrete flooring and in varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Duties

This position has a combination of office/admin, production floor, and warehouse shipping and receiving responsibilities. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety. Duties can include assisting with securing and booking carriers and providing updates. Other responsibilities include scheduling and servicing inbound and outbound freight pick-ups and deliveries and completing related documentation on warehouse shipments ensuring accuracy of orders. Warehouse duties include prepping and packaging freight for transportation, loading and unloading trucks, cycle counting, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, and packing of materials. Production lead duties include assisting Plant Supervisor with supporting the needs of daily production work, equipment maintenance, facilities support, and assisting with production needs as required. LEAN and Safety advocate to plant staff. The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in an ever-changing, production and warehouse environment. Additionally, the position requires hands-on learning and comprehending all facets of the daily processes. All other duties are “as required” supporting emerging needs of the production process and Plant Supervisor.
