Davis-Standard has immediate openings in the Fulton, New York location for Machining Assemblers on first shift. Please note, business needs may require at times, 2nd shift hours.

Duties require accurate fitting, alignment and adjustment to very close tolerances and strict inspections.

• Complete floor layout from machine line drawings
• Test complete products or subassemblies to meet exacting operating requirements.
• Perform bench and floor assembly or a wide range of complicated mechanical and electrical-electronic control equipment.
• Use all types of precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools.
• Duties require installation or troubleshooting product in the field.
• Make suggestions for product improvement.
• Detect faulty operation, defective material, and refer these and other situations to supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping in area.
• Follow standard safety regulations.
• Maintain check off sheets as assembly is completed
• Complete documents for machine level and tram
• Perform other similar or related duties assigned by supervisor/manager
