Kolter Solutions is seeking a Security Engineer.Location: Atlanta, GA.Job Description: The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all security related functions. The position requires direct hands-on experience with networking administration, Firewalls, switches, IPS, and IDS systems. Configuring ACLs access control lists, VLAN segmentation, Azure Cloud environments security for Azure Virtual Desktop (WVD), and on-premises systems. This role also requires experience with security technologies such as Fortinet firewalls, SIEM, Varonis, Proofpoint, LogRhythm, vulnerability scanning to build upon existing capabilities or stand-up new capabilitiesESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):Plan, implement and maintain system and network infrastructure.Manage all security infrastructure, configuring security services both on-prem and in the cloud environment, and serves as a key part of Cloud migration.Research and develop mitigation strategies to address the evolution of security trends and threat landscapes.Design, install, and configure internal and external facing systems, network devices and firewalls. Serve as an escalation point to other IT staff members.Evaluate, identify gaps, and recommend system and network improvements and upgrades.Create technical support documentation for systems, networks, and applications.Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other security-related standardsConstantly monitoring for attacks and intrusions & closing off vulnerabilities.Develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy.Manage security-related vendors, including 24/7 Security Operations Center Provide full desktop, user support, and training as needed.Plan and execute company-wide security training Assist in the training, coaching, and mentoring of IT team members who are less experienced.Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience requiredSecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, etc.)SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:5 years of experience in systems and network administration including evaluating, testing, and onboarding software systems5 years' experience cybersecurity standards and industry best practicesFundamental knowledge of networking concepts Demonstrated ability to foster concepts of teamwork, cooperation, self-control, and flexibility to get the work doneKolter Solutions is a leading professional staffing company based in Central Florida.
