General Manager

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000
About our position:
Are you a dynamic and experienced leader in the restaurant industry? Our client, a well-established restaurant group, is seeking a General Manager to lead their team and drive their continued success. This is a high-volume group with a ton of growth potential for the right candidate, and this person will be invested in training and developing their team. If this sounds exciting, keep reading!
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the restaurant's day-today operations including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and quality, address and rectified all customer queries in a prompt and efficient manor
• Recruit, train and manage team members. Maintain current knowledge of best practices in training and development within the restaurant and hospitality industries to ensure compliance
• Coordinate with the back of house operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies and cost controls to achieve financial targets

General Manager Requirements:

• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
• Strong financial acumen, able to read and evaluate P&L statements, COGS, provide accurate forecasting etc.
• Demonstrated history of developing people into progressive leadership positions
• Familiar with a variety of POS systems, online reservation systems, Microsoft Office Suite and Slack
• Superb leadership, communication and organisational skills - able to communicate across multiple platforms
