We are looking for a talented, experienced developer with strong software and database development skills to join our fast-paced agile team. As a valued team member, you can use your diverse skillset to develop and deploy scripts and support management activities.
Location: Crystal City - Hybrid (twice per month onsite/as needed)
Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated database software development experience with either Oracle PL/SQL Development, Microsoft T-SQL Development, or both.
• An understanding of distributed database architecture including the use of database links
• Experience with database tools such as SQL Developer, SQL Plus, Toad, SQL Server Management Studio
• Support database management activities and improve DB quality and scripts.
• Develop and deploy DB scripts for data quality, stability, and security systems to support maintenance activities that meet or exceed SLAs.
• Expertise in Oracle database performance, integrity, and security
• Experience writing packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Experience driving data quality and providing production support.
• Experience defining and creating data structures for schemas including tables, views, indexes, etc.
• Knowledge of best practices for database storage management, high availability, and data replication
• Experience using GitLab source code management
• Experience deploying software / database using CI / CD pipeline leveraging tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Experience supporting technical documentation, e.g., ICD, SDS, etc.
• Can think out of the box to help with troubleshooting issues and providing innovative solutions that fit customers needs.

Requirements:

• Must have a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must have an Active/Interim DoD SECRET Clearance.
• Must have a minimum of 7 years of Database Development experience.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL experience.
• Experience with PowerBuilder is a plus but not required.
• Requires sitting for long periods in front of a computer.
