Project Coordinator Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
- Basic understanding of machining, welding and assembly processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of paint and powder coating a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of steel shapes and plates.
- Validation of bills of materials using drawings and specifications.
- Entering material requirements into a MRP/ERP system.
- Entering manufacturing routings for parts and/or assemblies into MRP/ERP system.
- Calculating raw material requirements.
- Creating manufacturing cutlist.
- Project scheduling with the help of the operational team.
- Generate and release work orders to the production team.
- Associates Degree in a related field or Vocational Training and 1-3 years of on the job training.
