Job Details
Our client, located in McLean, VA is currently in need of a Netezza Engineer for a 12-month contract role. The consultant will work onsite in our client's Netezza data appliance environment working to improve performance, bundle 4 appliances down to 2, troubleshoot day to day issues, and improve efficiency.

- Must have an Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly
- 5 years of Netezza infrastructure experience implementing, deploying, bundling, and improving performance of data appliances
- Strong database/data warehouse experience with knowledge of physical design, capacity and security planning, backup and recovery systems, operating systems, data modeling, and query language
- 5 years Unix/Linux experience - able to work at command line
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Must be onsite daily in Mclean, VA
