Pay Range $45hr - 50hr
- Candidate will be supervising contractors, but will not direct the work of contractors.
- Primarily work oversight.
- Responsibilities typically include Project implementation for short-term results (1 year or less).
- Problems faced are difficult to moderately complex.
- Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ensures project deliverables are achieved – cost, schedule, quality.
- Multiple projects will be in progress at a site.
- Responsibilities typically include setting goals and objectives for team members for the achievement of operational results.
- Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
- Ensures work is being performed in accordance with regulatory requirements, especially OSHA requirements.
- All work should adhere to local statutes and laws.
- Unsafe behaviors and conditions are to be reported and corrected expediently.
- Multiple violations will be addressed appropriately.
- Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.
- Assist with investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
- Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee health and safety.
- Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by all stakeholders.
- Coordinates work between the various contractors on a project and may at times assume the role of general contractor.
- 20 years of Experience.
- Some college coursework in technical & construction management.
