Job Description
Seeking a Director of Premium Accounting in Scottsdale, AZ.
Director of Premium Accounting, you will:
- Manage Premium Managers and 20 indirect reports
- Streamline and develop team
- Set goals, KPI's, metrics, create structure
- Departmental Oversight: Oversee the overall operations and performance of the
Premium Accounting Department, including staffing decisions, annual evaluations, and
disciplinary actions. - Full-cycle AP/All AP aspects/Managed AP functions
- Hired/developed/trained/coached team
- Led/implemented/developed process improvements
- Audit preparation/Assisted with annual audit procedures
- W9/1099 processing/maintaining (this leans into carrier management, timeline management, and detail orientation)
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years management experience
- Experience managing 15 direct reports
- Proven people leader (enjoyable to work with, collaborative, able to hold people accountable and develop existing and future leaders)
- Excel Knowledge (pivot tables, sorting, v lookups, can identify errors)
- Cash & Accrual accounting experience
- Insurance experience/ premium exp. highly desired
- Process and operations driven
* This person must be local to Scottsdale area and Hybrid work schedule.
