Seattle Radiology Imaging Center, a part of Radia, Inc., is actively seeking a per-diem MRI Technologist. Compensation: The salary range is $39.80/hour to $62.19/hour (plus a 15% per diem in lieu of benefits). The salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. Hours: This position is per diem, hours are not guaranteed Benefits: A 401(k)-employer match, with a profit-sharing component if you meet eligibility Sick time accrual Free onsite parking Position Summary: Utilizes an MRI scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents Appropriately protocol all orders in advance Properly screen orders prior to scan for any precautions or contraindications including, but not limited to implanted devices Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance Qualifications and Requirements: Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology program or other compatible course of study Washington State Radiologic Technologist - Diagnostic license required (Washington State X-ray license, ARRT) Advanced registry in MRI required within 6 months of hire Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR 2 year experience as a successful MRI tech preferred Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions About Radia: Seattle Radiology Imaging Center is a part of Radia, one of the nation's largest and most progressive radiology groups.
