High school diploma or GED. Five years of experience in airport operations to include supervisory experience is required. Must possess a current State of Florida driver s license Class E and be able to obtain within the first six (6) months of the probationary period the FAA Part 139 Movement Area Certification and maintain the Certification every year thereafter. Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
