**Description**

**TransCore Amtech Systems, LLC (AMS), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc, (NYSE:ROP) is seeking a full-time Customer Support Technician to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico.**

**Job Summary**: TransCore is looking for a full-time Customer Support Technician. The job will be a member of the Sales team and work closely with existing customers and assist in establishing new customers to grow and promote TransCore products. The primary focus is ensuring the overall quality experience that a broad range of customers and partners have with TransCore.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

* Develops and maintains strong industry and customer knowledge designed to contribute to organizational goals and objectives

* Communicates sales and service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions within TransCore

* Expands market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products

* In conjunction with Market Manager, prepare sales quotes

* Prepare loaner products for testing demonstration

* Assists order administration with tag programming requirements

* Acts as the liaison between order administration and customers on technical issues

* Works with the engineering, manufacturing and product management team to ensure new product requirements are met and of any recurring or systematic problems encountered

* Perform on-site technical presentations

* Attends and participate in trade shows, conferences and other sales events

* Accompany Market Manager, as assigned, on customer visits and calls

* Maintains knowledge of competitor products

* Participates and contributes in team meetings representing the views and interest of the assigned customer segment

* Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of assigned products

* Conduct webinar training for Market specific products.

* Create How to YouTube videos

* Provide immediate assistance for customer technical calls

* Respond to customer inquiries/issues regarding fielded equipment and new installations.

* Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment to replicate issues reported on fielded equipment in order to develop solutions

* Assist in development and updating of product documentation based on lessons learned from providing technical support

* Travel occasionally to provide on-site technical support for the customer

**Required Skills and Experience:**

* At least 1 year of related experience or combination of education and relevant experience.

* Strong organizational skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Must be proficient with MS Office and database software

* Problem-solving skills

* Product knowledge

* Detail oriented

* Trouble shooting Systems and Equipment

* Debugging/Testing Systems and Equipment

* Knowledge of electronic circuits and schematics

* Experience with electrical lab test equipment

* Excellent written and verbal communications skills

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Must be able to travel in the US and Canada

* Superior customer service skills

* Driver's license with clean driving record

**Education:**

* Associates degree in relevant field such as electronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or technology.

* Bachelor's degree preferred

* Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
