Archem America (ACA) specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of automotive parts. Specifically, ACA specializes in providing Polyurethane Foam Products for the automotive industry to customers in North America and Canada. Summary/Objective - Produce quality parts in a safe, productive and cost efficient manner creating minimal scrap. Essential Functions - Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. - Per production schedule, process parts according to Operating Standards, process sheets and IWI’s. - Finish and inspect all parts to meet customer quality standards as assigned - Pack all parts in customer approved containers with correct quantities and labels as assigned. - Complete and record daily checks as described in IWI’s as assigned - Report any excess scrap issues as they arise to the Supervisor and Team Leader - Maintain a safe working environment and report safety issues as they arise. - Work with other operators to ensure quality product and a good working environment. - Maintain 3S standards to ensure a safe work environment and a quality product. - Utilize the proper handling, storing, and disposal of generated waste. Trustworthy/Ethical Practice Required Education and Experience - High School Diploma or GED. - Previous Manufacturing experience a plus - Ability to follow instructions Work Environment This job operates in an industrial plant environment. Plant can be hot to work within, and is fast-paced and at times, stressful. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Responsibilities:
·Perform quality control checks on products during their entire cycle life including assembly line acceptance testing
·Perform cycle counting activities against production standards
·Assist with inventory control as needed including ordering raw materials when needed
·Maintain records of product manufactured, sold, destroyed or delivered or other records as required
·Ensure that all paperwork is complete and accurate for each order placed by the company for any product or service sold or delivered
·Prepare reports as required by supervisor or manager for daily or weekly reporting
·Follow all safety policies and procedures per company standards and Department of Transportation requirements
·Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager to meet the needs of the department
·Adhere to all Company policies & procedures including attendance & attendance only!

Qualifications:
·High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Equivalent Substitute Training will be accepted
·Previous experience as a Production Operator in a manufacturing setting preferred OR experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions required
·Ability to perform well under pressure & under time constraints with a flexible schedule including mornings days weekends holidays etc.
·Good organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to multi-task; ability to work in a team environment; ability to communicate well with customers & other employees; good communication skills; ability to work well in a team environment; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to work at a fast pace; adaptability; willingness to learn & take on new responsibilities
