We are currently looking for an understanding and compassionate individual for the role of Dual Diagnosis Counselor. The Counselor offers diagnostic assessment and counseling primarily within the office setting. This person is responsible for individual and group services. This highly visible position will engage as a member of one or more collaborative teams. With a Trauma Informed approach, this position will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health. More specifically, this role is responsible for:

• Providing trauma informed services to clients in both an individual and group basis.
• Providing crisis intervention and "triage" services with clients, and completes intake, comprehensive diagnostic assessment, and treatment planning with assigned clients.
• Developing treatment programs to combat substance use disorders and the general complications of dual diagnosis in the treatment of behavioral health disorders.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required with 3 years experience. Master's degree in counselor or social work related field of study preferred.
• LSW, LPC or MFT required. LISW, LPCC, or IMFT preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience in the mental health field highly preferred.
• Experience working with a SUD issues and potential complications preferred.
• Trauma-informed experience desirable.
• Demonstrated experience developing trusting relationships with clients.
