The Maintenance Technician, under the direction of the Facilities Director, is responsible for the functional upkeep of the foundations facilities, grounds, and fleet. As the buildings and surrounding grounds present a direct image and sometimes first impression to our community, it is of major importance that this position reflects Opportunity Foundation's mission, vision, and values by way of the appearance and functionality of the facilities used to support our clients. Opportunity Foundation's fleet is essential in transporting our clients and staff, and should be well maintained at all times. The underlying approach to achieving this objective is based in preventative maintenance and constant analysis. The Maintenance Technician is expected to continue to strive for excellence by continuous development of expertise that directly relates to this position.
The Maintenance Technician must be able to work as a team as well as individually at times. They must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment and be adaptable and flexible to change. They must remain calm and professional at all times and possess quick decision making skills and good judgment.
