Job Summary
The Stormwater Solutions Engineering Manager will work to empower the Solutions Engineering team to develop unique design solutions in their support of engineers, specifiers, and internal Stormwater team members. The Solutions Manager will also proactively assist the other Stormwater functional groups in their strategic planning, product management and development, and go-to-market strategy efforts to meet the commercial objectives of the company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Equip, train, develop, and mentor Solutions Engineering team members
  • Work with other Stormwater team managers to drive business improvements and team effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards and procedures for the team
  • Support area and internal team members to achieve team goals
  • Partner with local manufacturing facilities to drive standard designs with focus on utilization of available form assets
  • Provide project and technical support for submittal drawings, calculations, regulatory approvals, production, and product delivery
  • Collaborate with other Stormwater leaders on strategic initiatives
  • Drive innovation among engineering and Stormwater team members
  • Assist with team and organizational change management
  • Hiring, recruiting, and onboarding new team members
  • Quality Assurance and Control activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering licensure (Civil)
  • 6 years experience with solid technical background in drainage design, water resources, land development, or similar field
  • Experience in drainage, stormwater, or wastewater design
  • Experience managing technical direct reports
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communicator and organized
  • Enthusiasm and passion for business and achieving organizational goals.
  • Collaborator with ability to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas, and get the job done in a highly interactive process
Preferred Requirements
  • Experienced with: AutoCAD, BIM, SWMM, Microsoft Office, HydroCAD
