Blackbird Transportation, Inc. has an Over-the-Road Truck Driver Position available! We seek people who place SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE as a TOP PRIORITY.

One of Blackbird Transportation's continuous customers is Crestwood, Inc., a manufacturer of beautiful custom cabinetry and related wood products! 

This position pays per hour in a wage range of $60K to $70K . Meal and lodging are paid on a per diem basis. The job is not a "drop and hook." - Our drivers are an extension of Blackbird Transportation, Inc., with customer service a top priority. 

 
Must have the following to be considered:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Driving experience or completion in good standing from an accredited Truck Driving Program.
- Minimum driving age: 21
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, including log books (E-Logs)
- Experience in using the U.S. system of linear measure
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Good Customer Relation Skills
- Proven Safe Driving History
- Ability to handle detailed paperwork
- Physically able to perform the job with reasonable accommodation (Lifting up to 75-100 pounds regularly while unloading)
- Beneficial: Experience driving through metropolis areas: (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, New York City, etc.)

*Experienced Drivers: Earning Potential: $55,000 - $70,000 per year based on regular overtime hours, per diem, and East Coast Delivery Drop Pay.
*Student Drivers: Starting Wage of $16.50/hour with a rapid increase for new drivers completing the Salina Area Technical College Commercial Drivers Program (or an equivalent program). New drivers receive on-the-job training with experienced drivers.
