POSITION OVERVIEW: Greet and serve the guests according to standards.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
• Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
• Answer any guest questions about the menu.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).
• Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

DOES IT SOUND LIKE YOU?

• At least 1 year serving experience as a server in a dinner setting establishment. 
• Understanding of wine. 
• Ability to suggestively sell hand crafted cocktails.
• Ability to create an experience for our guest by explaining the menu and making suggestions.
• Familiarity with Spanish food and wine a plus.

For applicants who will be working in California, the anticipated compensation for the position is $16.00. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to years of experience within the job, year of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
