Part-Time Office Administrator

Springhill Ridge- Omaha, NE

Burlington Capital Properties is currently accepting applications for a part-time Office Administrator in Omaha, Nebraska. We are seeking a friendly and organized individual who understands the importance of top-notch customer service and possesses strong administrative skills. This position offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule and will be discussed further during interviews.

This part-time, 20 hour a week, position requires availability between the hours of Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Actual days/hours may vary and will be determined during the interview process.

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE :

  • Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with visitors to the property and answering phones. Notifies appropriate personnel of visitors and receives incoming calls.
  • Manages information and materials by inputting data (informational and financial) into databases
  • Set up appointments with residents and conduct follow-up calls when needed. Prequalify prospective residents.
  • Conducts data entry by accurately entering work orders into Real Page and updating work order status when complete. Enter invoices for payment, verify monthly vendor statements and delinquencies in a consistent and accurate manner. Process paperwork for monthly and annual re-certifications.
  • Maintains filing operations and clean general appearance of leasing office.
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
  • Contribute to team effort by assisting in any other office duties as requested by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum two-years previous general office experience preferred.
  • Experience in property management industry preferred.
  • Leasing, Sales and Customer Service experience a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Basic math and bookkeeping skills required.
  • Able to type 45-50 words per minute
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, etc. as to perform essential functions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
  • Familiar with operating office machines i.e. phone system, fax, copier, etc.
  • Possess excellent prioritizing and organizational skills.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate with coworkers.
  • Excellent follow up and follow through skills; solid organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work as a team member.

This is not a benefits eligible position. Post offer drug testing, civil, criminal and motor vehicle background screening required. EOE
