AP Specialist - Costpoint
About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our repeat client who works in the GOVCON industry is looking to bring on an AP Specialist due to a vacancy.
• Position is hybrid (3 in, 2 out)
• Pay: $28-31 per hour ( depending on experience) , Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p.

Overview of the AP Specialist role:

• Manage AP Inbox
• Filter and route invoices to corresponding engineers for approval
• Once invoices are approved for payment, prepare batches to be paid according to the corresponding accountant
• Cut checks once batches are approved by accountants and posted for payment (check run occur on a weekly basis)
• Publish analytics and provide check run summaries to management
• Consolidate statements to make sure we're up to date and there are no missing invoices
• Contact vendors to request missing invoices, W-9 and COI forms
• Download invoices from vendor websites

Preferred Qualifications for the AP Specialist:

• 2-4 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Costpoint experience is required
• Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
