Are you looking to learn new skills? Do you like working with your hands? Schoolhouse is a privately held local company which designs and builds lighting and clocks, and we are looking to add an Assembler to our team. No previous assembly experience is necessary. We will train you on progressively more intricate lighting.
Our inclusive culture will welcome you as you learn and work with one of our experienced staff members. Once you have succeeded in learning the basics, you will begin building on your own, returning to training as you move between products. The position involves accuracy and efficiency so we can provide the products our customers expect.
No previous experience is needed. If you are wiling to learn, we will train you. This production position does require standing for extended periods and you will use a variety of hand tools. We are looking for someone who can work from 6:00am until 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, who is open to working overtime as needed, has a history of good attendance, is comfortable communicating and working with others in a diverse team, has basic math and reading proficiency and can do physical activities such as lifting up to 40 pounds, stooping and the handling and positions of materials and products.
Starting wage is $16.75an hour with several reviews within the first year.Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage, company paid life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability and 401(k).
