Job Summary
As an ER nurse, you will provide timely medical care to patients with serious illnesses or injuries who need urgent treatment. Your immediate priority will be stabilizing patients’ vitals and relieving their pain or discomfort. You will be required to assess the condition of your patients and triage patients based on the severity of their illness or injury.
Under the direction of a physician, you will develop individual patient care plans based on health history and current symptoms, and presentation. You will be required to perform and analyze diagnostic tests, correctly dose and administer medication, perform therapies and treatments, and provide counsel to patients and families to promote a full recovery.
This job entails a high level of responsibility for the safety of patients and staff. You must have a detailed understanding of nursing ethics and professional practice standards, relevant state regulations, and emergency department policies. An RN must also possess excellent communication, critical thinking, organizational, and computer skills.
We are looking for a versatile nurse who is willing to collaborate with a diverse team of doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals. Our ideal applicant is compassionate, steady under pressure, and capable of prioritizing when faced with the demands of treating high-acuity patients.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited nursing program
A minimum of one year of experience working in an emergency department preferred
Licensure and Certifications
Registered Nurse Licensure within the state of practice
Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
