Leadec is Hiring a Maintenance tech Near Montgomery, AL

Reports to: Facility Manager / Supervisor

Department: North American Operations

Skill Level: Basic - Demonstrates consistent work ethic and commitment to completing routine daily cleaning tasks. Requires limited knowledge and/or experience.

Position Purpose: Responsible for cleaning assigned production equipment daily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
  • Works safely and professionally around moving equipment.
  • Consistently arrive on time, fit to work every day as scheduled.
  • Replace air filters in electrical control panels.
  • Clean Sealer pumps using Simple Green cleaner.
  • Inspect Sealer robot lubricators and refill as required.
  • Clean Sealer build up on Sealer robots.
  • Clean trash and debris within Drop Lifter Zones.
  • Vacuum out electrical control cabinets and robot controllers.
  • Track and record completed tasks on work checklist.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.

  • Under minimal supervision, work directly on daily tasks.
  • Fill out paperwork (Checklist) on completed tasks.
  • Complete training and practice proper Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

Position Qualifications:

  • No previous experience required.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:

  • Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces up to 10 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule: Working times are day shift, Friday through Monday, 10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week and Overtime as needed.
