$13.00/hour. Part Time every other weekend!

The Housekeeper plays a critical role in providing superior customer service and housekeeping services to all Residents in the facility. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining environmental and infection control standards by performing a variety of general cleaning tasks.

Essential Functions

• Cleans and sanitizes Resident rooms, offices, hallways, and other areas inside the facility as well as outside upon request.

• May operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, and related housekeeping equipment

• Cleans vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes, and other high areas using a ladder.

• Performs deep cleaning procedures of Resident rooms and prepares rooms for new occupants.

• Assures that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained at all times. 

• Must answer and respond to call lights promptly and courteously when working in Resident care areas.

• Assist with new admissions, re-admissions, and assist with the transfer of Residents to different rooms within the facility. 

• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with Residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

Required/Desired Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

• One year of experience in a housekeeping role preferred.

• Detail-oriented and thorough.

• Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of Residents.

• Sufficient ability to read, write, and speak to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.
