Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for decorating cakes according to customer requests and ensuring high-quality products.
Duties:
- Design and decorate cakes based on customer preferences and special occasions
- Prepare icing, frosting, and other decorative elements
- Package finished products for display or delivery
- Bake cakes and other confectionery items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the decorating area
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely production of cakes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cake decorating and culinary arts. Minimum 1 year experience.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with baking techniques and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially in a restaurant or catering setting
- Creativity and attention to detail in cake design
Nice-to-Have Skills:
-Speak Spanish
- Experience in catering or working as a cook in a restaurant
- Familiarity with various kitchen tasks beyond cake decorating
