Costa Farms started on just 30 acres, and over the last 60 years, we've grown to more than 5,000 acres around the world. Description
The Sourcing Specialist provides an important service by providing project and administrative support. Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who can effectively execute tasks while managing multiple priorities with clarity and focus. The Sourcing Specialist should possess dynamic interpersonal skills to establish strong and mutually beneficial relationships internal and external customers. A successful Sourcing Specialist will exhibit timely and accurate project management leadership, coordination, transactional work processing, outstanding cross-functional collaboration, proactive communication skills, and unwavering follow-up to ensure completion of critical tasks and projects.
DUTIES (Primary 80%)

• Project management: Sourcing Specialists often support multiple projects at one time, owned by the Sourcing manager. The ability to plan, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information, provide analysis is necessary for managing projects.
• Search and identify potential new vendors based on category
• Auditing procurement execution to make sure it aligns with sourcing plan
• Analyzes and summarizes forecast based on trends
• Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns assigned by the Sourcing Managers.
• VMS compliance
  
  • Maintains contract database and provides required scheduled and on demand reporting
  • Supports and coordinates contract, review, and execution process with central sourcing, account leadership, suppliers and required client representatives.
• Support in evaluating market conditions and risk management plans
• Work on small projects or tasks assigned by the Manager
• Monitors and evaluates vendor performance utilizing established processes and systems. Administers SPM process coordinating with internal and external contributors and preparing reports for internal and external (suppliers and clients) stakeholders.

DUTIES (Secondary 20%)

• Coordinates contractual support

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in Supply Chain
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work as part of a diverse team
• Ability to problem solve and interact with all levels of management
• A strong analytical mindset
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
