Job Description
We have a great opportunity to work for our Watersports complex in Orlando. This is a job that allows you to do what you love, whether it is wakeboarding, skiing, or enjoying our inflatable park. Your expertise can help those customers new to our industry to learn how to successfully wake board or knee board in our cable park. We offer $12.50/hr, PT or FT. Candidates must be able to work weekends, some holidays, as well as during the week.
Typical duties are:

• Monitors activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents and provide assistance to swimmers.
• Interpret and enforce Aquapark rules and policies to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
• Be prepared to react to an emergency and become familiar with emergency action plans.
• Complete required reports and records as assigned.
• Engage with guests for safety briefings.
• Lifeguards will maintain beach area cleanliness by removing trash and organizing chairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard Training Certification Preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work 6-8 hour shifts in the sun.
• Minimum availability of 4 shifts a week.
• Ability to use good judgment and to respond quickly.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Ability to work under stress and handle stressful situations.
• Available to work varying shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to swim.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of experience.
