Position Summary: Primary point of contact for quoting, procuring and contract maintenance for Services, Equipment and MRO supplies in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures based on established specifications while interacting with relevant disciplines of the local organization and departments of the parent company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Issue purchase orders.
• Manage VMI program and vendors.
• Coordinate deliveries with logistics, suppliers, and shipping companies according to the agreed upon shipping terms.
• Maintain vendor data in SAP.
• Correct invoice discrepancies.
• Get competitive quotes when needed/ appropriate.
• Request new vendor numbers and assist Finance in getting information from vendors as needed.
• Monitor order acknowledgements, enter them into SAP and update delivery dates as needed.
• Assist in gathering information for customs clearance and HTS classification.
• Negotiate best price when applicable/ appropriate
• Source new indirect suppliers.
• Follow purchasing policies and ensure suppliers do the same.
• Maintain records for purchasing contracts certifications etc.
• Produce supplier evaluations.
• Follow market trends and report out important information on risks, benefits and opportunities.
• Develop suppliers into global partners with the best level of support, supply, and quality.
• Annual planning based on Capital investment plan and maintenance repair and operational supply usage.
• Create reports for open orders and spend as needed by Management.
• Create and update open order reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
