Corman Kokosing Construction, leading heavy highway, marine and industrial contractor, is looking for a Field Surveyor.Summary
The Field Surveyor would work closely with management to provide layout for all facets of heavy highway construction. Responsibilities
- Lead or be part of a survey crew depending on experience level
- Interact with management, subcontractors, and owner personnel to provide proper field layout
- Be able to prioritize layout and do in an efficient and timely manner
- Perform all work in a safe manner
Qualifications
- Associate/Bachelor Degree in Surveying or Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- Understand surveying techniques and use of robotic/GPS instruments
- Computer proficiency in CADD and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to climb ladders, work around traffic, and work in various weather conditions
- Good driving record
