Description
Using assorted hand and power tools, assembles and tests basic and complex electro-mechanical subassemblies, computer chassis and computer systems. Must be able to follow various drawings, blueprints and written or oral instructions.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Uses tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, crimpers, power drivers, soldering irons, drills, taps, tests, and other hand/bench equipment.
• Under limited supervision works from assembly procedures, prints, verbal and written instructions to build computers, subassemblies, cable harness, and complete computer systems.
• Communicates ideas that help improve the process, quality, product or work conditions.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic computer proficiency
• Minimum of one (1) year assembly experience

Education Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Non-Exempt Salary Details: The base pay rate for this role is between $16.50 to $21 per hour. The range for this position is an estimate. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
