Capstone Mining is Hiring a Sr. RCM Specialist Near Miami, AZ
SR. RCM Specialist Reporting to the Superintendent of Assets & Engineering, the Sr. RCM Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the condition monitoring team has the proper guidance and resources to effectively monitor asset health and improve maintenance programs at Pinto Valley. Although primarily a leadership role ensuring prioritization and effectiveness amongst the team, this role will also cover some of the duties of an RCM Specialist, including retrieving, documenting, and organizing information for the maintenance reliability programs and activities of Pinto Valley. They will focus on the identification of maintenance related concerns through data and failure analysis while developing and implementing key maintenance strategies that will minimize downtime, maximize efficiency, and minimize costs. This position works closely with all members of the maintenance team to ensure issues are identified and corrective actions are addressed or implemented accordingly. PEOPLE REPORTING TO THIS POSITION (Name of Position): WORK ENVIRONMENT: Balance of field and office work. Field work may include Processing Plant, Open Pit, Mobile Maintenance Truck Shop and Field Service locations, and Outlying Pumps and Piping Systems POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and manage reliability a Condition Monitoring team comprised of RCM Technicians and RCM Specialists
Ensure the team is supported by means of technical coaching and soft skills mentoring
Prioritize the teams efforts by understanding alignment with company goals and business impact
Lead and manage condition monitoring program for equipment and facilities
Provide mechanical expertise for troubleshooting, maintaining, and modifications
Lead preventative and predictive maintenance programs to improve and upgrade reliability of equipment and facilities
Prepare predictive and preventative maintenance plans applying company standards and OEM recommendations
Provide mechanical expertise for project work to ensure its compliance with specification, engineering standards, and quality assurance
Coordinate repair & maintenance day to day activities and support the maintenance team to identify risks related to equipment reliability
Define strategic spare parts stock for equipment fleets based on RCM tools
Facilitate the completion of Root Cause and Failure Analysis (RCFA) reports by coaching team members through the process and challenging findings and identified causes
Lead and drive reliability-based programs to improve safety, quality, and cost
Develop component improvement and life extension plans by utilizing condition monitoring data and techniques
Establish historical trends to demonstrate cause and effect relationships to improve fleet reliability
Perform process and equipment audits for cost and efficiency opportunities
Ensure continuous equipment and process improvement
Review and interpret P&ID's, schematics, and technical information
Identify potential trials seeking to reduce or predict equipment failures or reduce failure cost/impact
Utilize SAP and Microsoft Office software to enter, update and/or research information.
Responsible for but not limited to all tasks/duties assigned or required.
Associate's degree or relative technician certification
YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (Required, Preferred) Required:
5 years of maintenance/reliability experience in the mining industry with practical experience in preventive/predictive maintenance
1 years of experience in supervisory position
Preferred:
10 years in Mechanical or Reliability Engineering
3 years in supervisory position
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA):
Ability to lead a dynamic team of technicians and specialists
Soft skills for working with various team members
Understanding of business needs
Firm understanding of reliability techniques including but not limited to root cause analysis (RCFA), lubrication analysis, data analysis, and/or instrumentation
Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office with emphasis on spreadsheets
Valid Arizona Driver's License
Able to speak, comprehend, read, and write English
Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics
Knowledge with Non-Destructive Testing and condition monitoring highly regarded
SAP experience a plus
Familiarity with equipment
Makes effective contributions using team concepts and working within a multi discipline Maintenance team
Knowledge with FLIR thermography highly regarded
Heavy Duty Mobile or Plant Maintenance experience preferred
