Our plant in Livermore, CA produces fresh donuts, brownies, muffins, cookies, cheesecake, and more, for Northern CA and Reno stores every day. Quality Control (QC) Specialist: 3:00am-1:30pm; 4, 10-hour shifts, with 30 minutes total in breaks: working Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Experience level: 3 years of related QC experience, preferably in a bakery/food manufacturing environment.
Bakery manufacturing/warehouse QC work: Receive bi-weekly pay. Full-time. 4, 10-hour shifts per week. Long-term position – business operates 365 days a year, 7 days a week, almost 24 hours a day. MUST be able to work ALL Weekends and Holidays. Overtime hours available. 40 vacation hours available after 1 year of full-time work. Increases in pay available. Opportunities for growth.
Hourly pay: $18.50 - $25.00 per hour (depending on qualifications and experience)
Description: computer usage; take product temperatures, measurements, and weight; equipment swabbing; pre-ops; print orders; train employees in procedures; inspect cleaning procedures; monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards and schedule; remove all products that fail to meet specifications; prepare necessary documentation of the inspection process; inspect trucks, freezers, and hot room temperatures; monitor the production phase at various levels; uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs); communicate effectively with all employees, leaders, supervisors, and managers; check orders for accuracy in the order selection process; assist in production processes when needed: load product on the conveyors, remove product from conveyors and organize into baskets, make stacks of products; label, icing, filling, order selection, clean, etc. All other duties as assigned.
