Represent the Bank in a professional manner. Service customers efficiently. Coordinate and manage the daily operation of the branch staff function. Comply with regulations and policies of Bank as established.

. Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

May perform any or all of the following duties:

  • Supervise, schedule, train and evaluate branch staff.
  • Check approvals and cash verification over branch staff limits.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank policies and procedures end ensure compliance by all branch personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal regulations for both the branch and staff reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, prepare management reports and monitor performance of branch operations.
  • Duties associated with being a loan officer. i.e., loan generation, loan closing, loan administration and collections.
  • Monitor upkeep and maintenance of branch equipment, furniture and building to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for customers and other visitors.
  • Act in capacity of Universal Banker and Receptionist as needed.
  • Control and disbursement of negotiable instruments for all branch locations.
  • Respond to concerns of customers and branch personnel.
  • Balance vault(s) as needed.
  • Coordinate and control cash activity. This includes filling cash orders for branch staff daily, compiling the cash order for the branch and preparing cash orders for other branches.
  • Oversee the preparation and/or posting of the branch staff work schedule.
  • Review and approve branch personnel time cards.
  • Perform internal branch audits including compliance, cash audits and branch staff work audits.
  • Train, assist and motivate branch staff to meet individual and branch sales and referral goals.
  • Achieve sales and referral goals as assigned.
  • Schedule, coordinate and lead branch staff meetings.
  • Review and conduct maintenance on check holds.
  • Communicate with upper management regarding customer/staff activities and concerns.
  • Process customer transactions and balance the cash drawer when used.
  • Perform inventory control as it relates to the branch staff area.
  • Evaluate branch personnel through performance reviews and corrective action.
  • Assist other branches and departments as assigned.
  • Provide marketing input and implementation as needed.
  • Coordinate outbound calling activities to develop business, as directed by the Consumer Market Manager.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow and enforce First Federal Bank of Wisconsin policies and procedures. Follow and enforce all state and federal banking regulations. Ability to work Saturdays.

REQUIREMENTS / CORE COMPETENCIES

Two year degree or equivalent experience. Two years branch staff experience, supervisory experience and progressive Bank experience.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Sound knowledge of financial services, Bank Philosophy, time management and good communication skills.
