Farmer & Co is a community hub rooted in the Village of Unionville. Our mission is to celebrate and support local producers, from dry aged grassfed beef to organic watermelon radishes to locally roasted artisanal beans. We are looking forward to working together to bring a vibrant, locavore community hub to our neighborhood with insanely good coffee, fun and thought-provoking events, and a market for sustainable local products.

The role: We are hiring a Lead Barista who is has experience and a passion for specialty coffee to provide exceptional service in a warm, inviting environment for guests.

Responsibilities include:

- Welcoming guests and answering questions in a genuine, warm manner

- Mentoring and teaching new baristas

- Crafting food and drinks, and handling transactions

- Stocking and cleaning cafe throughout the day

- Continuing to learn, develop and refine knowledge of coffee properties and their preparation

- Contribute to good vibes :)

Requirements:

- Warm personality, and general enjoyment of people

- Strong communication skills

- Willingness to be a team player

- Ability to work efficiently and maintain poise
