Job DescriptionThe Safety / DOT Compliance Supervisor is responsible for developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. They conduct training, investigate incidents, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement, aiming to create a safe and compliant workplace environment in all BestDrive retail / plant locations. They will prepare and complete all regulatory and compliance documents. They will also maintain compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. The position will be responsible for maintaining compliant files and records and efficient use of Hours of Service. The Supervisor is responsible for setting goals and for developing strategy to continually improve safety for drivers. He or She will assign the appropriate training and works with leaders and team members to ensure that training is completed. This position functionally reports to the BestDrive Managing Director.
