Position: Leasing Specialist for Doncaster Village – Parkville, MD

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist for Doncaster Village your primary focus is to lease apartment homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents and plan monthly social events. This community features 616 apartment-homes

Most Important Responsibilities

• Have a hunter’s mentality. Prepare endlessly and work through contacts and leads to put yourself in a position to lease as many apartments as possible.
• The discipline to follow up. Consistent follow-ups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
• Be politely persistent to close the sale.
• Understand our product and be able to articulate its value. Features and benefits of living at Doncaster Village.
• Develop relationships with prospective residents and current residents.
• Collaborate with your team. Understand the unique challenges and find the best solution.

Most Important Qualifications

• Leasing experience strongly preferred.
• Sales background, hospitality and/or customer service exp required.
• Monday-Friday 9am-5:30 pm; Saturday 9-5pm. Should be available Saturdays unless weekend rotation available (based on operations and staffing needs). Still enjoy 40 hours per week.
• Self-motivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
• Market knowledge a plus.
• People skills. Ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs, so you can build rapport and trust.
• Must be likeable to prospects and residents.
