Control Systems Specialist (SIS)

Contech Control Services is seeking team-oriented professionals who have proven knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), graphics, logic programming, and safety lifecycle activities of industrial control systems, inside the oil and gas industry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Control System Specialist performs a wide range of duties, including the following:

• Assist on day-to-day in-plant commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and configuration changes, supporting a variety of systems including Triconex SIS, HIMA SIS, GE FANUC, and some others.
• Support equipment maintenance, cyber security controls, program updates, and troubleshooting.
• Responsible for assisting with documentation and drawing changes related to process control.
• Communicate progress to supervisor.

Requirements:

The Control System Specialist requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS or AES degree in Engineering is preferred.
• 10 years of hands-on control system engineering experience related to Triconex SIS, HIMA SIS, or GE FANUC, inside the oil and gas industry is required.
• Previous in-plant experience is a plus.

Working conditions are as follows:

• Position Type: Full Time, Full Benefits, Permanent
• Standard Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
• Overtime: Occasionally, paid by hourly rate
• Travel: 20% maximum
