Job Summary:
As a Generator Tech, you will maintain and repair commercial generator units, including load banks and automatic transfer switches.
Applicant should possess the following skills:
Working knowledge of electrical systems and circuitry as well as some knowledge of diesel engines.
Ability to perform accurate failure analysis and troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment.
This position requires some travel in the FL area and some after hour call outs.
Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle
Job Duties:
· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on diesel and gas generators
· Diagnostics and repairs on generators in a variety of sizes up to 2.5 meg
· Troubleshoot, repair, perform maintenance and install automatic transfer switches
· Load bank up to 2.5 meg
· Provide excellent customer service while on the job and keep accurate records
