Westech Security & Investigation, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for the below listed position(s) / schedule(s) in HARTFORD, CT:
-Saturday & Sunday: 7am-3pm [16hrs]
-Saturday & Sunday: 3pm-11pm [16hrs]
-Sunday & Monday: 11pm-7am [16 hrs]
Responsibilities:
**MONITOR CCTV / ACCESS CONTROL / NO CELL PHONE USE / TOUR**
- Monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment using CCTV system.
- Maintain multiple logs, including Visitor Log, Call Log, Package Log, Away Log, Overnight Guest Log, Cart Log, Status Check Log, etc......
- Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including investigating and documenting any suspicious behavior or activities
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect company assets
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns
- Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- First aid, CPR, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment is preferred
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous
