Job Description:

WideOrbit is seeking a visionary Senior Vice President of Product to spearhead our enterprise product strategy and management initiatives. SVP of Product will drive the strategic direction of all WO products and will be accountable within the R&D department for successful delivery and adoption of all products.

In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping our product vision and driving success. You'll lead a talented team, cultivating a culture of innovation and collaboration to ensure our products align with business objectives and resonate with our audience. With a focus on data-driven insights and metrics, you'll steer product performance to achieve growth targets and be a champion on behalf of our customers. Here is what success will look like:

Product Strategy and Vision

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our enterprise products and solutions, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Be accountable for the product vision and roadmap, communicating with executive-level staff and other key stakeholders.
  • Utilize data-driven insights for continual product improvement and innovation, staying ahead of market trends and aligning with user needs, expectations, and business goals.

Customer and Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong and trusted relationships with key customers by delivering high-value products, solving real business problems, and fostering a customer-centric mindset throughout the product development organization.
  • Serve as a product evangelist, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to showcase our products and gather feedback.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Be the architect of cross-functional partnerships, fostering seamless communication and alignment between product, engineering, design, sales, professional services, and customer success.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, engineering, professional services, and customer success teams, to define product requirements, prioritize features, drive successful product launches, and enhance user engagement and onboarding.
  • Partner with our professional services team to consult, identify, execute, and deliver on custom development or product advancement initiatives.

Product Development and Performance

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality product development, providing clear product requirements, resolving issues, and prioritizing development efforts.
  • Drive product adoption and performance through data-driven insights and metrics, making informed decisions to achieve growth targets.
  • Meet business goals and success metrics that measure product performance and team efficiency.

Team Management

  • Manage and grow our existing product and design team, cultivating a high-performing product and design team through strategic hiring, coaching, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning and growth.

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record of developing the product vision and strategy, value proposition, and roadmap.
  • 10 years leading product and design organizations.
  • 5 years of experience at a media technology company preferred.
  • Proven people management and strategic talent development experience; actively driving the growth of key employees and retaining talent to the business.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to think strategically and execute plans efficiently.
  • Ability to build solid relationships with key customers, to drive customer-centric product development.
  • Hands-on product management skills that include identifying, defining, packaging, pricing, and shipping software across conception, launch, and sunset phases.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise product delivery and go-to-market strategies.
  • Proficiency in market research, competitive analysis, and using data to inform product strategy.
  • Excellent listening, oral, written communication, and presentation skills with a strong ability to influence people at all organizational levels.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

This is a telecommute/remote position.

Pay Range: 

$170,000 - $250,000
