Department: Nursing

Overview: Kings Harbor MultiCare Center, a 720-bed long-term care and sub-acute facility, is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator/Nursing Secretary for our Nursing Department, which has over 400 employees. We offer excellent benefits including paid time off, 401k, medical, dental, and life insurance.

Job Duties:

• Distribute policies and procedures for the Nursing Policy and Procedures Manuals.
• Act as a liaison between the DNS, and staff.
• Assist with staff payroll corrections.
• Perform clerical duties for Staff Development.
• Cover staffing needs as required.
• Check and manage sick calls for all shifts.
• Replace staff who call in sick with available employees (agency, on-call, part-timers, etc.).
• Provide Payroll with weekly absenteeism reports and payroll corrections.
• Monitor time and attendance of assigned staff and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure sufficient staffing for upcoming shifts to meet patient/resident needs.
• Post daily census and number of Nursing Employees.
