Job Description:

Inland Imaging is seeking a Chief Information Officer to join it's executive leadership!

The CIO is responsible for overseeing the information technology team and operations headquartered in Spokane, WA. In addition to operating 7 stand-alone radiology clinics, seeing over 300,000 patients annually, Inland Imaging provides medical imaging staffing to major hospitals and clinics primarily in Washington State.

Job Summary: The Chief Information Officer provides direction and leadership to the information technology strategy and the operations of the information technology area. The position leads the provision of information technology services to numerous organizational groups. The Chief Information Officer also provides expertise in the business opportunities that are available to each of the companies. This function goes beyond the information technology area into areas related to other business opportunities. 

General Description: Essential Work / Responsibilities: The Chief Information Officer is a part of the leadership team for Inland Imaging. The position manages all of the information technology services and works closely with the Chief Technology Officer. The Chief Information Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer. In addition, the Chief Information Officer assists in the work of the overall operations and works closely with the other leadership team members.

  • Stays abreast of information technology opportunities within existing businesses.
  • Provides Radiology IT oversight for all sites served by Inland Imaging
  • Works with the President and Chief Executive Officer to explore new opportunities for future business growth
  • Leads the review and updating of internal workflow and processes to improve the operating efficiency of the organizational units
  • Provides input into the governance structure as a member of the team reviewing this area
  • Provides ideas and information relative to the ownership model for the various companies
  • Surfaces additional information technology and related opportunities in the market

Management Responsibilities: The Chief Information Officer has overall accountability for all of the operations and strategic direction of information technology. The position plans, leads, directs, evaluates, and controls the information technology functions. These are ever-changing areas in terms of technical expertise and software/hardware requirements. 

Essential Qualifications: To perform the essential work of this position, the Chief Information Officer must be an individual with extensive broad and deep information technology experience. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities of the work.   • Education: Requires a Bachelors degree preferably in information technology or related discipline.
  • Experience: Requires a minimum of fifteen years of experience which has included both technical depth and breadth related to information technology and familiarity with other business services.
  • Requires the application of knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead and manage all of the information technology areas and to provide strategically oriented advice and information across the various companies.
  • Any combination of the above education and experience.
